The Truth Behind Spirituality

The Truth Behind Spirituality

Spiritualists today are all about Love and Light.

Don't get me wrong, there is love and light on your journey. Actually, Love is the highest vibration you can be at spiritually. But, many fail to acknowledge the darkness and shadow that come along with love and light.

Why?

Because tackling our darkness, tackling our shadow is one of the hardest things to do. Doing this requires intense work, healing, and maybe even therapy. Doing this work uncovers immense trauma around the self, family, and past generations. Most people either don't do this work, or don't want to be vulnerable to society. And that is a whole other can of worms to open involving the shadow work.

It is so freakin' hard that most people refuse to continue the work, repeating the cycle of trauma again. And that is comfortable. That's why they don't keep going forward. Comfort is what makes the spiritual journey a difficult one.

When doing our work, we are pushed WAY out of our comfort zone and that is painful. No one likes being out of their comfort zone. But that is what's required for growth. Being moved out of where we are comfortable and what we are used to. This allows for new changes, new adaptations, new perspectives, and just plain old NEW.

New gives us so much to gain and learn from, so much to appreciate, and so much more room to expand in every aspect of life.

And that is one of the many truths behind a spiritual journey. A hard truth, not many want to face. Many assume you can be spiritual in your current space, from experience that doesn't happen. On your journey either you are in charge, or the universe is and your just on the ride.

So take the reins on your journey, do your work so you are ready to level up ON YOUR TIME. The universe will assist, but that means you MUST acknowledge and work through your darkness and shadows just as much as love and light.

Much love to you!
